Jacked in a Box - April 2014

Jacked in a Box is a fitness and supplement subcription box curated by the editors of Muscle & Fitness, Men's Fitness, and FLEX. For $15 per month they guarantee 5+ supplement samples, a workout from a Muscle & Fitness editor, and each subscription plan comes with a free full year subscrition to M&F, M&F Hers, Men's Fitness, or FLEX. My first box was fantastic, even though it was missing one of the samples. M&F emailed me several days before the box arrived to notify me of the mix-up with the supplement manufacturer which was a great customer service experience and the proactive nature of the message shows a lot of great business sense. I would expect as much from a long-established company, but it's still very much appreciated. Let's check out the goods:
The description card gives a great overview of the contents of the box.
While there are many widely available sources for free workouts, I love that one is included in each box. These cards would be great to clip together with a keyring or pop in a binder. You could also just snap a pic of the card and have it with you in your phone.
C has heard me lamenting the woeful inadequacies of my current Blender Bottle for weeks now so this was a fantastic inclusion. Not that it matters, but I love the color as well.
I'll be weighing in on these as I try them, so check back for updates.
Well... I don't have fine lines or wrinkles on my legs but dry skin is definitely present. Year round. I'm excited to see how well this moisturizes. Somehow I received two of these in my box. I'm thinking I might gift the second one for Mother's Day.
Altogether a great first experience with Jacked in a Box. The Blender Bottle has already made several trips to work with me and is such an improvement over the last one. I'm looking forward to a very long relationship with Jacked in a Box if this kind of quality in samples continues.
