Spotlight on Dottiebox

About a week ago I was perusing different subscription companies, building a list of unique and intriguing boxes that I wanted to try out for future reviews. I stumbled across Dottiebox, a company located right here in Ohio that offers a curated monthly box full of items that are handmade, with a focus on small businesses and indie brands. Though my interest was piqued, I didn't subscribe at the time. A girl's gotta pay rent, yo. But I did enter a giveaway they had posted for a 5-pack of their signature lip balm. Normally this would retail for $15! I completed the steps to enter the contest and then thought nothing else of it. I've never had much luck with contests. Lo and behold I received an email yesterday afternoon notifying me that I had won. It was wholly and delightfully unexpected. Being that they're local, I received my lip balm in the mail today and just wanted to share with you all the kind of thought and care that went in to the package I received:
They certainly didn't need to personalize the box, I was already receiving free product. This consideration for overall experience is the kind of special touch that promotes customer satisfaction. I will be signing up for Dottiebox this week. On top of all that, I tested out the lip balm and it feels fantastic. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, folks - I'm going to relax and bask in the heaven that is blueberry cheesecake lip balm.
