Honey House Naturals - Bee Bar

It's week's end, which means I get to spend time spoiling myself, going on adventures with Husband, and celebrating First Contact Day! But my work isn't really done yet - I've got several reviews I need to catch up on before Monday rolls around and I'm sure I'll come across a veritable boatload of health & fitness products to write up while I'm at the Vitamin Shoppe event tomorrow. For now, I thought I'd do something a bit different and throw up my first individual product piece.

My family spoiled me at Christmas and it's taken me quite awhile to get around to testing out some of the great gifts I got. The bitter cold, dry air this winter left my skin in need of some serious pampering and so I decided to give this little baby a try:

Bee Bar Lotion in citrus by Honey House Naturals

I love anything that utilizes packaging that isn't wasteful. Once my lotion bar is gone, I know I'll be able to find a use for this tin.

Adore the continued use of the bee emblem on the wrapped lotion bar. Also, this little guy smells absolutely divine - so fresh and zesty.

I'm always concerned about using anything new on my skin. It's incredibly sensitive and too many of the moisturizers I've tried are either ridiculously thin or seriously greasy. This didn't fall in to either of those categories. I used the bee bar on my hands, feet, and elbows and it felt incredible. My skin soaked in the moisture and I was left with a soft, clean feeling. No filmy mess, no oily shine, just smooth sailing. I'm going to continue using it to see how it does with healing my dry skin over time, but we're off to a good start.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a very important occasion to celebrate:
