Far Too Many Words About Nut Butter

When you're out of boxes to review and you just want to stay in for the weekend, you turn to what you know for inspiration. While this certainly won't be the most interesting post in the blog's short history, it plays to my personal goal of trying and critiquing new things. Let's meet the contestants:
The natural oils in this one didn't mix together well. The hazelnut flavor was very strong, but the chocolate barely came through at all. I felt a little bit like I was eating an expired candy bar from an imports store.
The specks of almond skin in this are actually, weirdly, visually appealing. I felt like this one enhanced the flavor of the waffle nicely. What else can you really say about almonds? They're nutty. The taste stays on your tongue so if you're weird about aftertastes, this likely isn't for you.
The honey in this is almost imperceptible. Essentially I was just eating natural peanut butter. Great if that's what you're going for, but I wanted that slightly sweet, floral flavor of the honey.
Definitely a perfect pick for the first gorgeous day of the year. I felt like I was on the beach eating this. My one wish would be for a little more texture. Flakes of coconut in this would have been a perfect addition.
Apparently when you mix almonds and sunflower seeds, you get something that tastes overwhelmingly like hazelnut. Not particularly a fan.
I won't lie, I've had this one before. It's amazing for baking, but terrible on its own. There's a kind of chemical aftertaste that I can't stand. I should say I've had all of the other Peanut Butter & Co. flavors, and they're utterly fantastic. It's been my go-to brand for a while.
This one was a little too sweet for me to eat in any great quantity, but wonderful for tasting and I know C will probably gobble it all up. Definitely better than eating Nutella - that I can tell you for sure.
Overall, this one was my favorite as far as the scent in-jar. I just kept sniffing it in front of my kitchen window - I'm certain the neighbors thought I was crazed. The verdict? I could eat this all day. It's like spreadable cinnamon graham crackers. I'm kicking myself for being unaware of what is undoubtedly magic in a jar.
I wanted so much to love this, but we were already on the outs when I started mixing it. The peanut butter was hard like a stale Reese's cup. I kind of had to glop it on to the waffle to make sure I got a little bit of everything in the jar. The raspberry flavoring was sickly sweet, almost a raspberry cordial, and holy salt lick, Batman! I'm still trying to get the taste off my tongue.
What's your favorite waffle/pancake/toast spread?
