Double the KLUTCHbox - My first box + their Best Of
http://aubreyinbeta.blogspot.com/2014/04/double-klutchbox-my-first-box-their.html
Every month, KLUTCHclub sends out carefully curated boxes filled with 9-12 health and wellness samples. Each KLUTCHbox is guaranteed to have a $50+ value. The boxes cost $18 including shipping, and they offer subscriptions for women, men, and moms as well as specialty boxes. I signed up for the women's subscription, as well as ordering a one-off Best Of box. They arrived within just a few days of each other so I'm including both here, with separate photos and valuations of the products inside.
Retail Value: $1
Fantastic! Another awesome cubicle snack to ferret away in my drawer.
I'm incredibly picky about food textures. I love different flavors, I'm not one of those crazy people who have to keep all their foods in separate areas of their plates. Some textures I just can't take, and this is one. Husband is looking forward to it though.
Tried this last night to great effect. I'll have to use it over a period of time to really pass judgment, but it didn't dry out my hair and it smelled wonderful.
Yes! I'm a lifetime indoor/outdoor allergy sufferer. Every season is allergy season. I switched out my Zyrtec for this baby on Monday and I can tell you I won't be looking back. My Zyrtec usually wears off after about 18 hours and oftentimes I'll find myself waking up in the middle of the night due to terrible symptoms. So far I haven't experienced anything like that with this product, and their claim that it's fast-acting ... you better believe it.

We'll start with KLUTCHclub's Best Of Box:
Bold, branded packaging. The directions for opening are absolutely vital ... the contents slide out in a sleek, blue tray. I have one sitting on my counter at the moment brimming with the smaller samples I received in both of these boxes.
Chock full of nifty items, and at a glance I haven't tried any of these - and isn't that the point after all?
hungershield appetite control drink mix. I can't imagine having a use for this one myself, but Husband wants to give it a try so I'll be sure to get a full report out of him once he does.
Retail Value: About $1.50
Dear KLUTCHclub, however did you know I'm in therapy for my injured shoulder? I'll get right on trying this one out.
Retail Value: $4
Be still my beating heart - Any kind of crunchy snack lights my fire.
Retail Value: About $1
The directions suggest mixing this with water or a smoothie. I'll try it for breakfast on Monday.
Retail Value: $3.95
Puritan's Pride Raspberry Ketones. I added this in with my current supplements today and I'll be sure to track anything I might notice.
Retail Value: About $9
I'm a sucker for ginger ale whereas Husband loathes it. We got one of these in each box so I hope I like it. If not, I'll give the extra to Kurt. He'll try anything at least once.
Retail Value: $1.50
More supplements. I'm not sure how I feel about the dissolvable nature, but we'll give it a whirl.
Retail Value: I couldn't find a value for this, but I'm going to guess $1 total.
I have a feeling these will come in handy at some of the conventions Husband has coming up. Sat in a booth all day, talking to countless people, it does get hot and sweaty. Not necessarily the occasion these are primarily marketed for I'm sure, but they'll definitely be of service.
Retail Value: Again, I couldn't find a price so ... $1.
Ahh yes, a snack for Husband. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good bar especially if it's soft-baked. But let me be quite clear: raisins are possibly the worst thing in the world. I didn't even really go for them when I was a wee thing.
Retail Value: It's just over $1.50 for a single bar.
Life spent in a cubicle gets fairly nasty, what with people surrounding you and horrid ventilation so that dust and germs just seem to fester. I'm sticking these in my desk drawer where FutureMe will find them and tell PastMe how clever I am and what pretty hair I have.
Retail Value: $1.20 altogether.
CHOCOLATE. Now, I don't really do dessert. I have to be in just the right mood for cake and ice cream (and we all know the cake is a lie anyway) but chocolate is always a welcome sight. Husband got very excited about these as well. What he fails to realize is that PMS gives me the strength of a Wookiee and I will tear his arms out of their sockets if he goes after my tiny squares of pure joy.
Retail Value: I couldn't find a value for these minis, but a regular size bar is between $5 and $6.
This really was heaven. I tried it out earlier tonight and felt absolutely fresh. Post-mask I didn't use any moisturizer and yet Husband commented on how soft my skin felt. The perfect end to a stressful week.
Retail Value: $2.99
Well ... I'll be honest. This is an awesome value. For someone who isn't me. I'm a gym-goer. I hardly ever do anything at home, and my fitness passion is really lifting. But I know someone I can gift this too who will probably love it.
Retail Value: $7
Tea is a staple in my life. I've amassed a ridiculous collection and Husband groans inwardly every time I set foot in a tea-centric shop. I like that there's something energizing, and something without caffeine. They will probably make great bookends to my Sunday.
Retail Value: About $0.40 altogether.
In addition to all of these fantastic items, there were an inordinate number of coupons and discount cards. I'm amazed they managed to fit everything into something the size of a shoebox.
Total Value: Over $35!!!
February 2014 KLUTCHclub Box:
Oh I'm ready.
Woo!
First look - again, just like the other box, this tray is absolutely packed nearly to overflowing.
Still love a good, crunchy snack as much as I did when reviewing the first box.
Retail Value: $1
I'm on the search for the perfect protein powder and it looks like we may have a new contender. I tried the hemp seeds on my salad tonight and they were pretty tasty. They also added a nice texture element.
Retail Value: About $1 each.
Getting promoted into a new position at work also meant completely altering my schedule. My sleep pattern has been thrown into total disarray, so I was very excited to receive and try this. It definitely helped me get a good night's sleep. I followed the instructions to the letter and Husband said I turned to him, told him, "I think I'm going to sleep now," and then immediately began snoring. Next morning I didn't have that awful, hungover feeling as with most sleep aids.
Retail Value: $3
Again, I'm a tea addict. I will never feel cheated receiving tea in any subscription box. The more, and the more interesting the blend, the happier I'll be.
Retail Value: $1
Honestly, I have a bottle/glass scrubber but I will give these a try and see how they do.
